Pull Plug On High Gas Prices. If you're fed up with paying high gas prices, Hybrid Technologies says it has a solution for you. The company is out with an "electric smart car" that runs on a lithium battery. The company's co-founder, Richard Griffiths, pointed out to The Early Show co-anchor Rene Syler Tuesday that that's the same type of battery you'll find in cell phones, PDAs, computers, "pretty much anything we use now that's a portable electronic device." "On a single charge, you can go up to 120 miles and, depending how you drive, 150 miles. It’s a nice solution for city and suburb’s transport, but I imagine the phone calls already; boss I cant come to work today because my battery is empty… ;)

Building the first stage rocket launcher was incredibly simple 1) 2" pipe over 5' in length to avoid getting blowback in you face; 2) Rocket engines, igniters, launch controller or any device that puts out about 6v; 3) Balsa wood and superglue…I thought more than twice about publishing this link….I do it here now because I like to warn anyone strongly against such risky experiments like those kids did it at home. This kind of experiments can do a lot of harm; it’s dangerous for the kid’s theme selves, for the environment and for the neighbourhood and people in the cities. It should be strictly banned by law, rocket launchers (either home-made) are military weapons and don’t belong in the hands of amateurs. People with such weapons are insurgents or terrorists, don't do it at home! ;(
