In time they also became known and referred to as "Waifs," "Keane," "Sad Eyes," and many other titles, all depicting the unique styles of this very creative woman. You may be surprised to hear the artist is a woman. You see, for many years she was married to a man who claimed credit for what she painted. To prove she was in fact the artist and not her former husband, she painted in court before a Federal Judge and jury, real original oil on canvas painting. When her ex-husband was asked to paint by the judge, his reply was: "I can't today, because I have a sore shoulder." Needless to say Margaret won the case and she continues to paint those Big Eyes we have come to love so dearly. Al-Qaeda's hacker caught; 'Terrorist 007', Exposed; For almost two years, intelligence services around the world tried to uncover the identity of an Internet hacker who had become a key conduit for al-Qaeda. The savvy, English-speaking, presumably young webmaster taunted his pursuers, calling himself Irhabi -- Terrorist -- 007. The first time I came as a young sailor to the USA the immigration officers had checked the political ideas and connections of me (I was 15 years than, it’s nearly 47 years ago) and my family. When I arrived I had to be checked again, now my state of health had to be controlled. They tested me about sexual diseases (I had to show my penis and they controlled me on gonorrhoea and other nasty diseases). Only when all was right we could go on shore and meet the American people. The protection against weird political ideas, criminals, terrorism, and health risks was always high. Behind that protective curtain of the immigration office and customs was the American freedom and the American way of life possible. Just as it always was and is. And I believe that’s the right way.

Strange Art
Some really strange and some provoking art works of Karin Frank. But if you can handle some of these sculptures looking behind the provocations, than you can see the art. It is known that Karin Frank works with wood. It is also known that Thomas Bernhard wrote a book entitled "Cutting Timber". Wood and cutting timber; unplanned proximity; that seems purely coincidental. The state which Austrian society is in – it identified with the book willy-nilly – can best be described as perplexed. The themes Karin Frank deals with are by no means scandalous: there is a lot of shitting, mountains and lakes of shit, a lot of lovemaking, couples does it floating on the lake, there are portrayals.
