Perp cops KFD car, stunned by officers…Police this afternoon arrested a 47-year-old man who allegedly sped off in the Chevrolet Suburban of a Knoxville Fire Department chief, had a minor accident and then fled with the chief’s attire. The suspect had to be subdued later with an electric stun gun when he allegedly attacked officers with a hatchet, hammer and baseball bat while wearing the chief’s outfit. When officers drove by the suspect’s Burgess Avenue residence, the man came out wearing the fire chief’s helmet and shirt. The man demanded to see the chief, DeBusk said, and then hurled a hatchet, a hammer and a baseball bat at the officers. Officers used an electric stun gun on the man to disable him, DeBusk said. The man was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation…I guess this could be a long stay for that moronic dude…
