Still struggling to give her boy a hug because of her serious injuries from the crash two weeks ago, Ms Thompson told how Kai raised the alarm after their car left Hog Bay Rd and rolled several times into scrubland, out of sight of passing motorists. Ms Thompson was trapped in the car. Despite being in shock and bleeding from a deep cut on his ear, Kai showed composure to get help for his mum and sister…With picture of mommy, little sister and that big hero! ;)
