Campaign takeout - an inconvenient feud...
An inconvenient feud… Democratic insiders agree that Al Gore is the ultimate prize among uncommitted super delegates, and Clintonistas well understand a Barack Obama endorsement by Bill Clinton's veep would be a huge blow to Hillary. They're hoping Gore will stay on the sidelines, but shudder over reports Obama has been courting Prince Albert for months. They also believe that Gore must be sorely tempted to stick it to the Clintons, whom he blames in large part for his defeat in 2000. "The level of animus between them is unbelievable," a well-placed Hillary partisan confided. A prominent Democratic strategist with close ties to both camps echoes: "The Clintons and the Gores can't stand each other." Did you knew that? ;)

Retired teacher's confession- he couldn't read or write...
Retired Teacher Reveals He Was Illiterate Until Age 48In 1961, Corcoran graduated with a bachelor's degree in education, while still illiterate he contends. He then went on to become a teacher during a teacher shortage. "When I graduated from the university, the school district in El Paso, where I went to school, gave almost all the college education graduates a job," said Corcoran. For 17 years Corcoran taught high school for the Oceanside School District. Relying on teacher's assistants for help and oral lesson plans, he said he did a great job at teaching his students. "What I did was I created an oral and visual environment. There wasn't the written word in there. I always had two or three teacher's assistants in each class to do board work or read the bulletin," said Corcoran. In retrospect, Corcoran said, his deceit took him a long time to accept. "As a teacher it really made me sick to think that I was a teacher who couldn't read. It is embarrassing for me, and it's embarrassing for this nation and it's embarrassing for schools that we're failing to teach our children how to read, write and spell!" While still teaching, Corcoran dabbled in real estate. He was granted a leave of absence, eventually becoming a successful real estate developer…

Cocaine shoes...
Shoes hid $500,000 of cocaine a French woman has been arrested after drugs worth $500,000 were found in three pairs of shoes at Brisbane International Airport.
Australian Customs today said the woman was stopped when she arrived from Hong Kong on Sunday. Miriam Klett, 21, was charged with importing a marketable quantity of a border controlled drug after police said she tried to smuggle heroin and cocaine into the country.
Officers became suspicious of the slip-on shoes after searching the woman's baggage and drilled into one of them, revealing cocaine. A customs spokesperson said the shoes contained a total of about 1kg of cocaine and 850 grams of heroin with a potential street value of $500,000…

Teacher showed accidently porn to his pupils...
Teacher suspended for showing porn film to pupils. A teacher has been suspended for accidentally showing pornography to pupils during a lesson. The male teacher used his own personal computer to show an educational film but the pornographic movie flashed up instead. The class of 11 and 12-year-olds saw "graphic sexual images" from film in the teacher's private collection. Families of the shocked children say they only saw a few seconds before the teacher realised his mistake - and pulled the plug on his laptop. The teacher used his own computer when the DVD player in the classroom failed to work when the children were due to watch the schools film. Education chiefs confirmed the teacher was sent home as an investigation was launched at Sandfields Comprehensive in Port Talbot, South Wales. Families of the pupils, both girls and boys, were "shocked and upset". "My grandson is very distressed by what he saw," said one grandparent, who did not want to be named. "The police have now got to speak to the pupils. It's a traumatic experience for a youngster to go through." He said pupils were exposed to the shocking scenes for only a few seconds before the computer was turned off. Police have launched an investigation into the incident after a complaint was made…good they got him!

1 m in marijuana growing in Sydney home and garden
How does this garden grow? Very high, with $1m in marijuana. As gardens go, this is not what the occupant of this Liverpool house wanted to see - a million dollars worth of marijuana plants stacked neatly on his front lawn by police. Following an anonymous tip-off, Liverpool police raided the house in Medley Avenue at 8am, arresting a 39-year-old man and discovering large marijuana plants growing in every room of the house. "The people that live in the street have taken great interest in, of course," Inspector Paul Kitley from Liverpool police said of the cannabis plants stacked neatly in rows on the front lawn of the drug house.
The bust - 355 plants in total which police value at $1 million - was one of the biggest Inspector Kitley had seen in such a built-up area, he said. "The whole house, every room, was just chock-a-block full of plants," he said…

Christian right extremists???
Christian extremists are preaching a war against tolerance to target and persecute all Muslims, including the 6 million who live in the U.S. Walid Shoebat, Kamal Saleem and Zachariah Anani are the three stooges of the Christian right. These self-described former Muslim terrorists are regularly trotted out at Christian colleges -- a few days ago they were at the Air Force Academy -- to spew racist filth about Islam on behalf of groups such as Focus on the Family. It is a clever tactic. Curly, Larry and Mo, who all say they are born-again Christians, engage in hate speech and assure us it comes from personal experience. They tell their audiences that the only way to deal with one-fifth of the world's population is by converting or eradicating all Muslims. Their cant is broadcast regularly on Fox News, including the Bill O'Reilly and Neil Cavuto shows, as well as on numerous Christian radio and television programs. Shoebat, who has written a book called Why We Want to Kill You, promises in his lectures to explain the numerous similarities between radical Muslims and the Nazis, how "Muslim terrorists" invaded America 30 years ago and how "perseverance, recruitment and hate" have fueled attacks by Muslims. These men are frauds, but this is not the point. They are part of a dark and frightening war by the Christian right against tolerance that, in the moment of another catastrophic terrorist attack on American soil, would make it acceptable to target and persecute all Muslims, including the some 6 million Muslims who live in the United States. These men stoke these irrational fears…
