Is this Britain's most gullible town? Residents of Oldham have staked their claim as the most gullible people in Britain - after losing £13m to marketing scams last year. More than one in ten people in the Greater Manchester town, some 11,000, were fooled into handing over money. That works out at £80 per adult being duped by premium rate phone lines, foreign lotteries and pyramid selling. According to the Office of Fair Trading, about 6.5 per cent of adults in Britain fall victim to marketing scams each year, meaning Oldham is almost double the national average…strange kind of statistic facts…

Texas town fights mosque development with pig racing game

Macabre edible sculptures
Kittiwat Unarom, age 28, is a Thai artist and son of a baker who creates macabre edible sculptures out of bread: “Of course, people were shocked and thought that I was mad when they saw the works. But once they knew the idea behind it, they understood and became interested in the work itself, instead of thinking that I am crazy,” said the fine arts masters degree student…a rare combination of art, food and weird sculptures…
