Rumours about the death of Osama Bin Laden
French newspaper published details of alleged intelligence memo. Chirac says there is no evidence bin Laden has died. President Jacques Chirac said Saturday that information contained in a leaked intelligence document raising the possibility that Osama bin Laden may have died of typhoid in Pakistan last month is “in no way whatsoever confirmed.” Chirac said he was “a bit surprised” at the leak and has asked Defence Minister Michele Alliot-Marie to probe how a document from a French foreign intelligence service was published in the French press. BBC news sample about this issue a lot of news about nothing… till we know for sure the guy is death or alive I won’t read about him anymore ;(

Life sentences wipe smile away
Life sentences wipe smiles off their faces. Laughing and flashing what appeared to be gang signs as they walked into court yesterday, two Jersey City men were sentenced to more than 100 years in prison each for murdering a man during the robbery of a chicken restaurant, an incident that ended in a shootout with police…good decision ;(

The class action, banging around Iowa state courts for six years, is one of the last suits remaining in Microsoft's long antitrust battles and is on the docket for November. "Can [this case] expand the thinking of courts generally about what appropriate damages are in antitrust cases? Yes, I think so," says plaintiff counsel Roxanne Barton Conlin… I don’t like that claim society…If an article or software is bad buy another better one
