50,000 balls used in Aussie artwork
50,000 balls used in Aussie artwork. Here we have a work titled "Atomix -- Full of Love, Full of Wonder". Artist Nike Savvas (shown in the picture making final adjustments) is Australian, the installation is at the New South Wales Art Gallery. It represents the "shimmering outback" -- the colours come from the colours of the outback, and the balls are blown with fans so that they move a little bit in the wind. Nice work! I guess a lot of you would like to see it in person in New South Wales ;)

I just found this story amazing. Some stray cat was hiding in the branches of a tree when workers pushed it through a wood chipper. Somehow the cat survived but I guarantee he is getting credited at least 3-4 lives on that one; a cute survivor ;)
