Big Mac couple's £1.3m lotto win: A couple who work together at McDonald's say they have no plans to give up the job despite winning more than £1.3m on the lottery. A good decision, that couple should keep the money for pension, invest in a house or other solid investments, or save it for an early stop with work later in their lives ;)

Each year the sun is below the horizon for 4 months in the middle of winter, and above the horizon for 4 months in summer. During the couple of months in between we have more-or-less normal days. Antarctica life
This film was made for the Antarctic 48 Hour film competition at McMurdo Station. Film requirements were it had to be made in Antarctica within 2 days, had to contain a bowl, an ice cream cone, a sleeping person, the sound of a phone, and the line "We've lost another one". This film won first place for best film, narrowly beating "McMurdo Cops", a great wee film by Tim Packman and Eric Saling. Check it out if you get the chance. Another aspect of life on Antarctica; worth to view either ;)

Police nab smurfs for trampoline theft: Two blue smurfs were left with red faces on Saturday night after they were arrested by police for stealing a trampoline. Such an nasty smurfs belong in jail for a while ;)

Thai bride killed British husband
Thai bride 'killed and barbecued British husband.' A BRITISH man was murdered and then barbecued on charcoal in a national park, after divorcing his Thai wife because of her gambling debts. Mr Charnaud divorced Pannada because of her gambling debts. He gave her an £11,000 settlement and won custody of their five-year-old son. Cruel ending of this Britain’s life, but the worst case is that little son with a killed dad and a mother like this insane woman, I feel sorry for the kid ;(

These are the most powerful animals in the ocean! I can’t get enough of great white sharks. Especially videos of them fuelling breaching like this one. I think I once read that only Great Whites off the coast of Africa jump fully out of the water like this.
