Turkish woman jumps from building
A woman attempted suicide by jumping from atop an apartment building in late Mar 2006 in the Turkish city of Edirne. According to family and friends she had become depressed after recently divorcing her husband. Before she jumped, she told onlookers, who pleaded with her, that she still loved her now estranged husband. Rescuers were able to partially break her fall by holding an outstretched tarp in her path. She was seriously injured in the fall but managed to survive and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Lets hope she recover phisical and mentally 100 % ;)
