New device helps blind woman to see again
New device allows woman to see, even without eyes (ST. LOUIS) - More than a million people in the United States are legally blind. Many of them once had vision but tragically lost it. Now a breakthrough device could give them back some of their sight. Some call her the bionic woman. Others call her a medical miracle. But Cheri Robertson has given herself another title: "I just call myself the robo-chick." Robertson is blind, but this device allows her to see, not with her eyes but with her brain! Fifteen years ago, she lost both of her eyes in a car accident. She was just 19 years old. This is probably the start of e breakthrough, at least for a group of blind people who could see once, maybe they can see again with the help of this new device and the neurosurgeon techniques, see de video too ;)

Turn up your speakers for this one. A wooden cabinet is blown up and a piece of wood flies out of view, you can then hear the wood boomerang back and take out the cameraman, I guess the cameraman gets his own cabinet in his face; ouch ;(

Don't eat Canadian Bears
PARIS, April 3, 2006 (AFP) - France's health watchdogs have issued an unusual warning about bear meat, citing the case of French hunters who shot a bear in Canada, ate the meat and then fell violently sick with a parasitic disease; I am sad today, never thought about eating a Canadian bear, but right at the moment I discovered that it would be possible to hunt and eat that big animal, there is that vicious risk of a nasty disease, good that the French health officials warned me before ;)

Engineers at Cornell University have designed this odd-looking machine that can rebuild itself and also could perform repairs on ‘it.’ This is not what I thought of the issue, ‘self repairing robot’ I guess this is only a step one, in the further development ;)
